Services and Facilities

We provide person-centred specialist services for adults with learning disabilities, personality disorders and autistic spectrum disorders.

Services are delivered through a range of facilities including purpose-built secure hospitals, locked and open hospitals, specialist care homes and domiciliary care accommodation.  These facilities offer a potential pathway of care for those service users who are ready to progress to less restrictive environments. 

Our care philosophy is based upon looking for the positives in each individual.  We provide a safe and therapeutically enhanced framework of care, supported by individual treatment programmes, enabling our patients and residents to make their journey towards greater independence and a better quality of life. 

Our services are fully supportive of the principles encapsulated in the government’s publications - Valuing People: a New Strategy for Learning Disability for the 21st Century, the National Service Framework for Mental Health and Personality Disorder: No Longer a Diagnosis of Exclusion.
