Rose Lodge, Oldbury, West Midlands
Rose Lodge is a Step-Down Service for men and women with a learning disability and/or significant impairment of social/cognitive functioning. It is registered with the Healthcare Commission and provides specialist healthcare and rehabilitation services for people who may need to step-down from more secure accommodation or step up to a level that provides more structure and safety than an ordinary community setting.
The nurse-led service is supported by a multi-disciplinary team including Consultant Psychiatrists/RMO, Psychologists and Registered Nurses. Individually designed and costed service plans are formulated following the pre-admission assessment which we provide free of charge. We aim to respond quickly to assessment requests and can usually assess a person within one week of the referral being made, sooner if the person’s current placement is in crisis.
Rose Lodge provides a much needed service for local people whose behaviours are a challenge to manage in non-specialised service settings. This high-quality service is set in the heart of the local community in Langley, Oldbury in the West Midlands, with easy access to community facilities and transport links.
