- Male
- Aged 18 or over
- Primary diagnosis of Learning Disability (LD). Most service users will fall under mild or moderate LD although referrals will still be considered for those with severe LD
OR - Clinical diagnosis of one or more personality disorders as defined in ICD-10 or DSM-IV
OR - Primary diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC) or Asperger syndrome with or without general cognitive impairment (Learning Disability)
AND - Presents severe challenging behaviour
- May also have complex mental health needs
- Is detained under the Mental Health Act 1983 and requires a period of highly specialised assessment and treatment under conditions of medium security
- Requires high levels of physical, procedural and relational security
- May also have a forensic history
