Patient Group & Admission Criteria
All our patients and residents have a primary diagnosis of Learning Disability, Personality Disorder or Autistic Spectrum Disorder / Asperger syndrome and present with challenging or offending behaviour. Many also have complex mental health needs and / or a forensic background.
The most appropriate environment for each service user will be determined primarily by their status under the Mental Health Act 1983, the level and form of security they require (physical, relational or procedural) and the degree of risk they pose, either to themselves or to others.
