Admission Criteria: Open Hospital
The patient:
- Has a primary diagnosis of moderate to mild Learning Disability
- May also have chronic mental health problems, behavioural difficulties or other enduring complex needs
- May be detained under the Mental Health Act
- Requires tight procedural and relational, rather than physical, security
- Will not require seclusion or extended periods of restraint
- Is not at an acute stage of mental illness or high risk of suicide
- Is aged between 18 and 65
- Is male or female
