Kings Delph Lodge, Pondersbridge, Cambridgeshire
Kings Delph Lodge is a 15-bed independent Open Hospital for adult males with learning disabilities and mental health or other complex needs, including behaviour disorders. It is located in the small village of Pondersbridge, some six miles from the city of Peterborough.
Each resident has his own bedroom and access to communal areas which include a dining room, lounges and activity rooms. The Hospital also has a sizeable garden with a patio, vegetable patch, pond and greenhouse.
Educational skills are developed through established links with local colleges where patients can access courses that are tailored to meet their individual needs and interests. There are further educational facilities provided within the unit and individuals are also able to undertake local voluntary work.
Kings Delph Lodge is registered with the Healthcare Commission and accepts men aged between 18 and 65 years, including those detained under the Mental Health Act.
