Why work in Psychology for Care Principles?

Our consultant psychologists play a pivotal role within our clinical teams. Attitude and motivation is every bit as important as skills and experience. Care Principles provides a wealth of challenges and opportunity, and is therefore an ideal place for anyone working in this field to broaden their experience and gain skills.

As with all our staff, we are keen to help our psychologists gain new skills and qualifications where desired, and we will be very happy to work with you to develop a personal development plan that incorporates training and mentoring.

What to expect

As a clinical psychologist with Care Principles, you will be working as part of a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team delivering innovative and practical solutions to the complex needs of our patients and residents. Our psychologists are responsible for the implementation of our therapeutic assessment and treatment services. Clinical psychologists manage their own caseloads and play a key role in the multi-disciplinary team at each of our facilities.

Care Principles fosters links with external bodies, and we are happy to support any member of our team who wishes to carry out research that builds upon our clinicians’ existing expertise.
