Rowan House
Rowan House provides both medium and low secure specialist person-centred assessment, treatment and rehabilitation services for adults.
The hospital offers medium secure services for men with personality disorders, learning or developmental disorders and challenging behaviour. It also provides low secure services for both men and women with learning disabilities and associated challenging behaviour.
Positive engagement, respect and encouragement are fundamental aspects of the care service provided at Rowan House. Our service users are continually assessed and monitored, which enables our team of healthcare professionals to fine-tune their care programmes and keep them as stimulating as possible. Over time, as patients enter a more future-focused phase of treatment, our team uses a range of empirically-validated risk assessment and relapse prevention techniques, to ensure that social integration or discharge is as safe and supported as possible.

- Have a personality disorder or learning disability (with or without Autistic Spectrum Condition)

- Are detained under the Mental Health Act
