Hungate Lodge
Hungate Lodge provides caring support and specialist treatment for people with a learning disability, challenging behaviour or complex needs. Many patients come from lower-security or community-based placements where their needs could not be adequately met. Positive engagement, social inclusion and support provided by a highly-qualified care team make Hungate Lodge an ideal environment, for individuals to develop at their own pace.

- Tailored care & treatment programmes, delivered within a well-established, evidence-based psychological model
- Individual and group treatments
- Evidence-based forensic treatments for people with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour.

Service users
Men aged 18-65 who:
- Have a learning disability and/or other mental disorder
- Display challenging behaviour
- May be detained under the Mental Health Act
- Have complex needs that are not being met in their current placement, for example lower-security units or community-based placements

- 17 individual bedrooms, mostly en-suite
- Spacious communal leisure and recreational area
- An excellent training and skills development area including computers and cooking facilities
