Beech House

Beech House is a low secure hospital that provides highly-specialised assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for adults with learning disabilities, autistic spectrum conditions, mental health needs and challenging behaviour, including those with a forensic history. To ensure a high quality of life for patients, this small hospital places a strong emphasis on community inclusion and, where appropriate, a care pathway through to greater community integration.

Treatments and services include:

  • Tailored care and treatment programmes, delivered within a well-established, evidence-based psychological model
  • Comprehensive risk assessment
  • Cognitive Behavioural Support Programme (CBSP)
  • Multi-disciplinary working
  • Individual and group therapies
  • A range of physical and learning activities
  • A care pathway through to community integration, where appropriate
